Our Story

Cricket and Brad Willis opened Artsy Me  on December 1st, 2001 just three weeks before having their 4th child. Artsy Me was located on Walton Way Ext. and was the first contemporary ceramic studio in the AUG. They moved the store to Davis Road just a couples years later and remained there for 3 years before taking their show on the road. Cricket made the rounds to schools, churches, and events with kids in tow, providing a creative opportunity to many.

In February 2012, they opened their next location in Evans, in one of the oldest land marks left in Columbia County,  4275 Washington Road is where they still call home.

In June of 2016 they expanded their reach to their second location in Downtown Augusta. After 2020 hit, they made the decision to move this location to Grovetown, and October 1st, 2020 Artsy Me @ the Gateway opened its doors. Their hopes have always been to provide a safe, creative environment for people of all ages to express themselves through art.
